Camps
The Tessie Summer Camp has been such a positive experience for our family. Our daughter felt excited, engaged, and supported each day, and the mix of hands-on learning and meaningful field trips made the experience truly special. It feels like a natural extension of the Tessie community.

A Taste of Tessie
Tessellations Summer Programs invite young people to engage deeply with ideas, build confidence as learners, and experience the Tessellations approach in a joyful, thoughtfully designed learning environment. Designed for rising Kindergarten through 10th grade students from across the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond, our summer offerings honor the whole learner—intellectually, socially, emotionally, and creatively. For families new to Tessellations, summer offers a welcoming introduction to our holistic approach to learning, guided by the Beneventi 10—our framework for supporting the whole learner across intellectual, social, emotional, and creative dimensions. For current families, it is a natural continuation of the learning culture students already know, guided by Tessellations faculty and staff and grounded in these shared principles.
Whether you are discovering Tessellations for the first time or returning for another summer, this season is an invitation to experience the Tessellations magic.
The Tessie Difference

- Intentional differentiation, supporting a range of strengths, interests, and learning paths
- Social-emotional awareness and self-regulation, woven naturally into the day
- Connection to nature, community, and real-world experiences that deepen learning and belonging

- Is Tessellations Summer Camp only for gifted students?
Tessellations Summer Programs are open to all students. Our approach is shaped by a deep understanding of how children learn—especially those who think deeply, learn differently, or benefit from thoughtful differentiation. Programs are designed to support a wide range of strengths, interests, and developmental paths within small, supportive learning environments. - Do students need to be enrolled at Tessellations to attend summer programs?
No. Summer programs are open to both current Tessellations families and families who are new to the school. For some, summer is a first introduction to the Tessellations approach; for others, it is a continuation of the learning culture students already know. - How are students supported if they have different strengths or learning needs?
Our programs emphasize small group learning, flexibility, and intentional differentiation. Faculty and staff meet students where they are, supporting intellectual growth alongside social and emotional development.
